The number one must do item in Key West is visit Mallory Square at Sunset. You will see street performance acts such as acrobats and sword swallowers. Get there around an hour early to watch the performers, have a snack or alcoholic beverage from the vendors, and look at some of the local art.
Duval Street
After watching the sunset, head over to the most popular street in Key West, Duval Street, which is full of restaurants and world famous bars plus shopping and art galleries.

Located outside in the open air on Duval Street, this bar is a famous destination. The vibe is usually country or southern rock and is popular stop for motorcyclists. They have live entertainment, food, raw bar, and drinks.
Dirty Harry’s
This bar has a rock band named the Durtbags that is a local favorite, playing classic rock to metal. You can find them in the heart of Duval Street at corner of Greene Street. The music is amazing and there is room to dance in front of the stage. You can also view the band from the upstairs crow’s nest balcony and enjoy your favorite cocktail while looking down at Duval Street or the stage. The bar also has several big screens to watch your favorite sports game.
Rick’s Bar
Next to Dirty Harry’s, you can walk right over, and here you can dance to top 40 music.
Green Parrot Bar
Located at the beginning of US 1. This bar is the first and last bar on US 1. Fun hangout with inexpensive drinks and free warm popcorn with live Honky Tonk style music but no food.
